During my time at Drexel University College of Medicine, I worked on a project to develop a point-of-care diagnostic to detect drug resistance mutations within HIV-1 patient variants. This technology is based on SHERLOCK.
I was able to computationally design probes (gRNAs and LAMP primers) and partly validate my reseults in vitro
